The Commissioner for Local Council Development, Mr. Swizin K. Mugyema, representing the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Mr. Ben Kumumanya, has asked stakeholders validating the Local Government Council Induction Training Materials to develop a practical and responsive guide that will equip newly elected leaders to deliver quality services.
Opening the validation exercise, Mr. Mugyema said participants should focus on producing materials that address the realities of Local Governments and ultimately improve service delivery to citizens.
