The Ministry of Local Government, through the Department of Local Councils Development, has convened a Training of Trainers for the Induction of Local Government Councils at Hotel Brovad Masaka.
The training, running from 9th to 14th August 2026, brings together stakeholders with diverse training backgrounds and expertise to equip trainers with the knowledge and skills required to effectively facilitate the induction of newly elected Local Government Council members.
A debriefing meeting is currently underway to set the mood and prepare the team ahead of the commencement of the training tomorrow, 10th August 2026.
