Hon. Balaam Barugahara Ateenyi, together with Hon. Justine Nameere, visited residents of Wanale Sub-county in Mbale District, where they held discussions with members of the local community near Bubentye Seed Secondary School.
During the visit, residents appealed to the ministers to convey their concerns to President Yoweri Museveni. They requested government intervention to improve the area’s road network, expand access to clean and safe water, and support the development of Bubentye Seed Secondary School.
Responding to the concerns, Hon. Balaam assured the community that their requests would be communicated to the relevant authorities. He also encouraged residents to play an active role in promoting accountability by reporting corrupt individuals without fear or favour.
“Expose the corrupt without fear or favour,” Hon. Balaam urged, emphasizing that public resources should be used to improve the lives of citizens through better infrastructure, education, and essential services.
