HOIMA CITY, 9th October 2026 – While at Hoima Regional Referral Hospital today, Hon. Balaam, brought Independence Day gifts for expectant mothers, distributing mama kits to all expectant mothers admitted at the hospital.
Hon. Balaam, who was on a field inspection of service delivery facilities in Hoima City on the directive of the Prime Minister, made an impromptu visit to the maternity ward where he interacted with mothers and handed over the kits as a gesture of care on Independence Day.
The mothers could not hide their joy, thanking the Minister for remembering them on such an important national day.
