Kibaale District Local Government has officially launched its comprehensive induction training workshop for newly appointed staff at the district headquarters.
Running from August 3rd to 7th, 2026, the capacity building program has brought together over 300 participants as part of the district’s ongoing commitment to professional excellence and administrative efficiency.
Spearheaded to foster a high performance culture across all local government structures, the training aims to instill a profound sense of belonging, shared institutional values, and a positive, citizen-centric mindset among incoming public officers.
Addressing the cohort of over 300 participants, district leadership emphasized that the training is structured around three foundational pillars:
Structural and Policy Alignment: Equipping participants with an in-depth understanding of government structures, core institutional functions, and the governing legal and policy frameworks.
Cultural Transformation:
Identifying key elements that define a professional public service culture and designing practical actions for positive organizational adaptation.
Regulatory Rigor:
Reinforcing the critical necessity of absolute compliance with the provisions outlined in the Public Service Standing Orders, 2021.
This induction training is a vital stepping stone in our strategic vision to elevate service delivery across Kibaale District.
