BUNDIBUGYO DISTRICT — Hon. Balaam has commended Busiita Primary School in Bundibugyo District for running an orderly institution and for adhering to government guidelines on school fees.
The visit followed a full inspection of the school premises, classrooms, and administrative records. After the tour, Hon. praised the administration for maintaining organization and for not charging students exaggerated amounts of money.
He noted that discipline and proper planning were evident across the school, and that learners were able to study in a conducive environment.
Hon. also thanked parents for cooperating with the school leadership. He said their decision to sit with school administrators and agree on a money “till” to help run the school is in line with government instructions. The arrangement, he explained, ensures that the school can meet basic operational needs without placing an unfair burden on individual families.
“The partnership between parents and the school is what keeps a school running well,” he said. “When you agree together and follow government guidance, no child is sent away and learning continues smoothly.”
