The Commissioner for Local Council Development at the Ministry of Local Government, Swizin Kinga Mugyema, has met with the team of logisticians ahead of the Local Government Induction Exercise scheduled to commence on October 5th 2026.
The logisticians will coordinate the welfare and logistical needs of trainers and trainees throughout the exercise.
Mugyema urged the team to ensure that participants are well supported and able to operate in a conducive environment, while upholding professionalism and representing the Ministry responsibly.
He also encouraged them to understand the different environments in which they will work and respond appropriately to the needs of participants, with emphasis on courtesy, flexibility and good interpersonal relations.
The meeting formed part of the Ministry’s preparations to ensure a smooth and well coordinated induction exercise.
