The Induction of Local Government Councils, 2026, has kicked off in Kiruhura District, as the Ministry of Local Government begins the first leg of the programme covering 35 Local Governments.
The induction, held under the theme “Enhancing Capacities of Local Government Leaders for Efficient and Effective Service Delivery,” is equipping newly elected leaders with the knowledge and skills to effectively execute their roles, strengthen accountability and improve service delivery to communities.
