Local Government Association staff have today convened for the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Local Government Staff Savings and Credit Cooperative Society (SACCO) Limited.
The AGM provides an important platform for members to reflect on the SACCO’s performance, review its progress, strengthen accountability and discuss strategies to enhance savings, access to affordable credit and the overall financial well-being of members.
Beyond reviewing the SACCO’s performance, the meeting gives members an opportunity to actively participate in decision-making, deliberate on key matters affecting the cooperative, approve important resolutions and collectively shape the direction and priorities of the SACCO.
Through such engagements, members strengthen ownership, transparency and good governance while laying the foundation for a stronger, more sustainable and member-focused SACCO.
