Last evening, I updated the whole House on the progress made so far in our efforts to eliminate corruption in Local Government.
I thank the Rt. Hon. Speaker ObothOboth for giving me the opportunity to present, and I sincerely appreciate all Members of Parliament, both NRM and Opposition, for their guidance, valuable input and overwhelming support for this campaign.
I am particularly excited that this has become a unifying campaign bringing Ugandans together regardless of political party affiliation. The fight against corruption is a fight for all of us not for Mr President KagutaMuseveni , General mkainerugaba or myself , because every Ugandan deserves accountable leadership and better service delivery.
Together, we can build a cleaner, more accountable and more effective Local Government system.
