MARACHA — Hon. Ssozi Galabuzi, the National Coordinator for the Parish Development Model, has urged leaders in Maracha District to actively use their oversight mandates to monitor and support PDM implementation at parish level.
Speaking during a stakeholders’ meeting in Maracha Town on Wednesday, Galabuzi emphasized that the success of PDM depends on each office doing its designated job, from district to parish level.
“Let everyone do their job,” Galabuzi told the meeting. “The CAO has administrative oversight, the RDC has political monitoring, the DISO supports security and mobilization, and the Parish Chief is on the ground with the people. When all of you play your role in monitoring, PDM will deliver results.”
The National Coordinator explained that the different offices are not supposed to interfere with the day-to-day running of PDM SACCOs, but rather to supervise, guide, and troubleshoot challenges.
