BUDAKA DISTRICT
Headteachers, health facility in-charges, Heads of Department, technical officers and members of the District Executive are gathering at Budaka District Local Government ahead of a one-day accountability meeting to be led by the Minister of State for Local Government, Hon. Justine Nameere Nsubuga.
The engagement is part of the implementation of H.E. the President’s directive to expose and fight corruption in Uganda and will focus on strengthening accountability and transparency in Local Governments, improving service delivery and fostering the fight against corruption.
The meeting is expected to provide an opportunity for the Minister to engage directly with political and technical leaders, as well as officials responsible for service delivery across the education, health and other sectors in Budaka District.
