Mbarara City – Residents of Mbarara City have called on the government to address concerns surrounding Nyamityoobora Market and Nyamityoobora Health Centre II, particularly regarding land ownership. The locals expressed concern that the land titles for both properties are registered in the name of the City Council and are demanding greater transparency from the authorities. They appealed for a clear account of which parcels of land were surveyed and titled, saying this would help clarify ownership, strengthen public trust, and safeguard public assets.
